How we perceive ourselves has a huge impact on our emotional well being and mental health. In this workshop, we discuss body in two parts:
Body Image and Social Media - how social media influences how we feel about ourselves and how we can develop critical skills when accepting messages from society.
Body image and self-love- How to turn negative thoughts into positive ones surrounding our self-image.
This is an interactive, evidence-based workshop that will help guide girls to start being skeptical of things they hear from society about unrealistic expectations pertaining to their bodies and abilities.
